Saelig Introduces GW Instek MPO-2000 Series 5-in-1 Programmable Oscilloscopes

Fairport, NY: Saelig Company, Inc. has introduced the GW Instek MPO-2000 Series Multifunction Programmable Oscilloscopes. These instruments combine, in one space-saving box, a full-featured oscilloscope, a spectrum analyzer, an arbitrary waveform generator, a digital multimeter, and a 2-channel 20VDC power supply. In addition to its five-in-one multi-functional architecture, it features Python script functionality into the MPO-2000, enabling users to create a small, low-cost automated test system without an external controlling PC. Python is widely used in scientific computing, data analysis, web development, artificial intelligence, and other fields since it is easy to learn and use.

The 2/4 channel MPO-2000 series is supplied in Basic and Professional versions (B and P suffixes) with the Basic version providing 100MHz bandwidth and the Professional version 200MHz capability. The Professional version provides larger program memory and more system resources for processing longer waveform data. The series provides USB CDC device control for multi-unit collaborative tests. A Python GUI library is provided to allow users to modify the original built-in Python APP or write their own custom programs. The Basic version features demo executable programs (e.g. USB device control, GUI, and others). Many bus decoding functions are included in the standard configuration, while the Professional version provides additional bus decoding functions, including FlexRay, USB-PD and I2S.

  • 2-ch 20V Power Supply: 1V to 20V continuously adjustable (0.1V step)
  • Can use Python scripts to control for automation purpose
  • I2C/SPI/UART/CAN/LIN serial bus trigger and decoding function
  • MPO-2000P: CAN FD, USB 2.0(full speed), FlexRay, USB PD, I2S digital decoding
  • MPO-2000B: CAN FD, USB 2.0 (full speed) digital decoding
  • Data logging function tracks signal changes up to 1000 hours
  • Network storage function
