SEHO Systems, a worldwide leading manufacturer of complete solutions for soldering processes and automated production lines, will highlight its latest approaches to efficient, highly controlled electronics manufacturing at productronica India, taking place September 16-18, 2026, at the Bengaluru International Exhibition Centre (BIEC).

At the German Pavilion in Hall 4-E45, SEHO experts will provide insights to advanced solutions for selective and wave soldering, THT inspection and customized automation. A key focus will be the new SelectLine-S selective soldering system, along with smarter, scalable technologies that directly address the manufacturing challenges of rising costs and fluctuating batch sizes.

Selective Soldering: Maximum Yield, Zero Extra Footprint

SEHO’s selective soldering portfolio offers manufacturers unmatched flexibility, covering everything from high-mix, low-volume environments to highly productive high-mix manufacturing.

To streamline production preparation, the new Solder Copilot serves as a digital twin of the miniwave soldering process. It analyzes and optimizes the process parameters before the first assembly even enters the soldering system, significantly reducing setup times.

This digital efficiency is followed by next-generation preheating concepts that prepare assemblies perfectly for the subsequent soldering process while helping manufacturers minimize energy consumption.

High-precision electromagnetic soldering units and advanced nozzle technologies ensure reliable results for both miniwave and multiwave applications. This high process reliability is further enhanced by automated control features: contactless wave height control and SEHO’s patented automatic ultrasonic nozzle cleaning ensure absolute repeatability and reduce manual maintenance downtime. For immediate quality assurance, integrated THT-AOI solutions inspect solder joints on the fly, ensuring that only flawless boards move downstream.

To round out this highly efficient process and optimize cost-per-joint, innovative software-driven production modes like Synchro and SmartSplit allow manufacturers to scale throughput even further. While Synchro coordinates multiple process stations for identical assemblies to cut cycle times, SmartSplit dynamically distributes tasks for mixed-production runs. Both software-driven technologies boost output without requiring extra floor space or heavy machinery investments.

Advanced Wave Soldering: Precision Meets Resource Efficiency

For high-throughput wave soldering, SEHO focuses on reducing material waste and energy consumption without compromising on process windows.

The innovative SectorFluxer, for instance, divides assemblies into individually defined sectors to apply flux only where it is actually required. This dramatically reduces flux consumption, cuts residues, and lowers operating costs. This is complemented by high-power, fast-reacting pulsar preheaters that deliver heat precisely when and where required, keeping energy costs tightly controlled.

In the soldering area, automatic wave height control continuously maintains the defined process conditions. Automatic nozzle height adjustment adapts the distance between the assembly and the solder nozzle to the respective product without affecting cycle time, and features like sector soldering provide further flexibility by allowing different conveyor speeds and wave heights to be assigned to individual areas of an assembly. This creates an exceptionally wide process window for complex, thermally challenging boards, ensuring perfect wetting and without affecting the overall cycle time.

Customized Automation for Efficient Production Flows

Beyond the soldering process, SEHO helps manufacturers bridge the gap between individual production steps to build a fully transparent, highly efficient shop floor. The portfolio ranges from modular board handling units and ergonomic workstations to flexible, autonomous Carrybots. These smart mobile robots transport assemblies and production materials dynamically between workstations. Because they operate without fixed, rigid conveyor lines, manufacturers can adapt production routes easily to changing capacity needs or factory layouts.

By combining soldering technology, optical inspection, and smart handling from a single source, SEHO eliminates unnecessary manual board handling, optimizes valuable floor space, and creates ergonomic, high-productivity environments.

The SEHO India team invites visitors to discuss their specific manufacturing challenges and discover new ways to make their production more cost-effective at the German Pavilion, H4-E45, during productronica India 2026.
