Noida– Avaada Group marked a significant milestone in its solar manufacturing journey as Shri Heeralal Nagar, Hon’ble Minister of State (Independent Charge), Energy Department, Government of Rajasthan, unveiled Avaada’s 745 Wp Domestic Content Requirement (DCR) N-Type TOPCon solar module at Renewable Energy India (REI) Expo 2026.
The advanced glass-to-glass module combines an output of up to 745 Wp with 23.98% module efficiency, highlighting India’s growing ability to manufacture high-performance solar technology domestically. Featuring a 132 half-cell configuration and 18-busbar architecture, the module is designed to deliver higher power density, enhanced energy generation and reliable long-term performance.
The unveiling underscores Avaada’s commitment to building globally competitive solar manufacturing capabilities in India, advancing technological innovation and supporting the country’s clean-energy ambitions.
Following the unveiling, Shri Heeralal Nagar said, “India’s clean-energy transition is being supported by advances in solar technology, energy storage and decentralised power solutions. It is encouraging to see companies such as Avaada Group bring advanced solar modules, rooftop solar solutions and storage technologies to the market. Such innovations can help expand renewable-energy adoption and contribute to strengthening energy security.”
On the occasion, Shri Vineet Mittal, Chairman, Avaada Group, said: “India should not just be one of the world’s largest consumers of solar technology. India must become one of the world’s leading creators and manufacturers of solar technology.
At Avaada, we believe that Make in India must also mean Make the Best in India. Our 745 Wp DCR TOPCon module reflects this ambition—to manufacture high-performance, globally competitive solar products on Indian soil.
But our vision goes beyond manufacturing solar panels. We want to enable every home, business and industry to generate, store and intelligently use clean energy. From advanced solar cells and modules to rooftop solutions and battery storage, we are building an integrated energy ecosystem.
Our ambition is simple: Indian technology, Indian manufacturing and world-class performance—Power to Empower India and the world.”
At the three-day exhibition, held from October 22 to 24 at India Expo Mart, Greater Noida, Avaada presented its expanding portfolio of solar and energy storage technologies, demonstrating how advances in manufacturing and energy management can make clean power more accessible, reliable and efficient.
Made-in-India solar technology
A key highlight of Avaada’s pavilion was its portfolio of N-Type TOPCon glass-to-glass solar modules, including products delivering up to 640 Wp at efficiencies of up to 23.7%, alongside advanced G12R and G12 DCR offerings delivering up to 745 Wp.
Engineered for demanding operating conditions, the modules incorporate features such as low light-induced degradation, strong low-light performance, favourable temperature coefficients and bifacial energy generation. These features are designed to support higher lifetime energy yield and dependable performance across diverse climatic conditions.
Avaada’s manufacturing platform, with 6 GW solar cell manufacturing capacity (3 GW operational and an additional 3 GW line at an advanced stage of commissioning), alongside 8.5 GW of operational module manufacturing capacity, supports the company’s mission to develop a globally competitive Indian solar manufacturing ecosystem.
From rooftop solar to intelligent energy independence
Avaada also showcased its ready-to-install rooftop solar kits, developed to simplify solar adoption for households, shops, farms and commercial establishments.
The kits bring together key installation components, including solar inverters, electrical protection systems, earthing equipment and connectors, providing customers and installers with a more convenient and integrated rooftop solution.
Complementing the rooftop offering was Avaada HALO, the company’s integrated Battery Energy Storage System designed to help customers store electricity and use it when needed.
Combining a hybrid inverter, lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery technology and smart monitoring through the Avaada mobile app, HALO supports backup power, improved utilisation of rooftop solar generation and greater control over electricity consumption.
The modular system supports configurations of up to four stacked units and delivers up to 10 kW of continuous power, with up to 11.5 kW available with solar support during power outages, subject to operating conditions.
Together, Avaada’s rooftop kits and HALO demonstrate a larger shift in the energy industry: from simply generating solar electricity to empowering consumers to generate, store and manage their own clean energy.
Global engagement and interactive experiences
Avaada’s pavilion welcomed several distinguished visitors, including Mr John Swinney, First Minister of Scotland, and Mr Ravi Kishan, Member of Parliament from Gorakhpur and actor, providing opportunities to showcase the company’s advanced manufacturing capabilities and clean-energy technologies.
The pavilion also featured Energy Unplugged – Discover What You Know, an interactive clean-energy quiz, alongside a virtual reality experience offering visitors a closer look at Avaada’s solar manufacturing operations.
Through its participation at REI Expo 2026, Avaada reinforced its commitment to advancing India’s clean-energy transition through domestic manufacturing, continuous technological innovation and integrated energy solutions.
