Siglent Technologies Waveform Generator Series SDG3000X:

The Function/Arbitrary Waveform Generator is one of the most important products in R&D, Manufacturing, Testing and Academic Laboratories. It provides different test signals to test the performance of DUT; Circuit developed for different applications.

It has appropriate sampling of 1.2Gsa/sec, nice arbitrary waveform length of 40Mpts and 16-bit vertical resolution, these banner specifications make this series more attractive.

The Waveform Generator is known for the maximum sine wave frequency which it generates. This new SDG3000X series has three different models with maximum frequency 80MHz/160MHz/200MHz. The important specifications of sine wave are Total Harmonic Distortion (THD) it has < 0.075% for 10Hz -20KHz and this parameter is attractive for users to work in audio applications.

The use of Easy Pulse and TruArb Technologies together enables user to produce pulses with minimum width of 8ns with fast rise and fall time. This feature makes it ideal tool for generating high – precision pulse signals for testing.

Built-in tracking and phase synchronization allows user to control pulse width and time interval which simulates realistic switching behavior. This capability makes it ideal for conducting Double Pulse Test for power conductor devices like IGBT, MOSFET and enables user to evaluate switching losses and conduction characteristics. Combined with remote control via USB/LAN, and oscilloscope synchronization, the SDG3000X simplifies the creation of automated test systems—enhancing both testing efficiency and data reliability.

The new series has many good features and specifications and is cost-effective offering in this segment.

  14. Connectivity USB Host & device, LAN
  15. Display 7 Inch Touch Screen

This series has the best features and specifications in this segment such as 60MHz Square Wave and Pulse with low jitter.

It provides wide connectivity options, USB Host & Device. LAN supports SCPI commands for remote control operation. Built-in WebServer supports instrument control via web browser too.
