MUMBAI/GURGAON, India – Zebra Technologies Corporation, a global leader in digitizing and automating workflows to deliver intelligent operations, today announced the launch of two new service centres in Mumbai and Gurgaon, expanding its repair services footprint in India.
The new service centres in Mumbai and Gurgaon are designed to complement Zebra’s existing centralised repair hub in Bangalore. Strategically located to support a growing customer base across India’s Western and Northern business corridors, this expansion optimises regional service delivery, reduces repair turnaround times, and strengthens the foundation for intelligent operations across the country.
The India service centres are operated by Zebra’s authorised service partner, Communications Test Design Inc. (CTDI). The centres are staffed by skilled technicians proficient in repairing Zebra’s portfolio of products and solutions, bringing localised technical support closer to customer operations.
“India is a key growth market for Zebra, with businesses across manufacturing, retail, transport & logistics, healthcare and other sectors increasingly digitizing and automating their workflows,” said Subramaniam Thiruppathi, Country Lead, India and Subcontinent, Zebra Technologies. “Expanding our local service capabilities to complement our Bangalore hub is vital to supporting our growing customer base throughout their technology lifecycles.”
To optimize repair efficiency, the service network is specialized by location:
- Mumbai and Gurgaon service centres: Dedicated exclusively to the service and repair of Zebra printers and mobile computers.
- Bangalore service hub: Continues to serve as a comprehensive, centralized hub taking care of all Zebra products, including printers, scanners, tablets, mobile computers, RFID, fixed industrial scanning and machine vision.
Customers can continue using Zebra’s Bangalore repair hub for all device types, while eligible printers and mobile computers can now be routed to the new Mumbai and Gurgaon locations. Repair orders may be initiated through Zebra’s Repair Order Portal using customers’ existing Zebra single sign-on credentials.
